Rachelle Tersigni has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2008. She is also a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto, Canada. She has lived in several countries and traveled widely.
Her work draws on training in Hypnotherapy, Emotional Transformation, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and other well-being practices. Through them she aims to awaken her students' and clients' innate capacity to heal and to find the inner wisdom that guides them on their paths.
At Renewal Therapy, where she works alongside Lauren, she offers online trauma therapy to individuals and couples in Ontario and beyond. She is trained in Internal Family Systems and in the NeuroAffective Relational Model, an approach to complex and relational trauma. The work is collaborative, depth oriented and largely experiential rather than centered on coping skills. It looks at the underlying patterns that run counter to what a person wants for themselves, in support of more agency, authenticity and vitality.
Worth Knowing
Rachelle Tersigni is a Toronto-based Registered Psychotherapist and yoga teacher who has been teaching meditation and yoga since 2008. Her reputation rests on an unusual intersection: she brings sophisticated trauma-informed therapy skills to her yoga and meditation teaching, and conversely, somatic and contemplative practices into the therapy room. Students and clients seek her out because they want teaching that doesn't separate the body from the mind, or spiritual practice from psychological healing. Her approach assumes that many people carry relational and complex trauma patterns that a standard yoga class or generic meditation instruction won't address—and that depth-oriented, experiential work can touch those patterns where surface-level wellness advice cannot. The Spotify presence (5,489 followers) suggests she has also recorded guided meditations or yoga nidra sessions that listeners return to for support.
