Question 1

Who is Everything Is Energy, and why do people care about their work?

Accepted Answer

Lisa Marie Haley operates under the name Everything Is Energy, offering integrated work as a yoga teacher, astrologer, herbalist, and energy healer with over 15 years of teaching experience rooted in the Silicon Valley wellness landscape. What distinguishes her practice is the deliberate convergence of astrology and plant medicine—she reads birth charts not as abstract cosmic data but as a mirror for a person's actual rhythms, lived experience, and wellness intentions, then recommends specific plant allies to work with the person's astrological profile. She doesn't follow a templated approach; instead, her astrology and herbal consultations are customized to each individual, whether that's a full reading, a focus on relationships and compatibility, or astrocartography work. People come to her because she operates at the intersection of multiple traditional practices—yoga, meditation, energy healing, and herbal ritual—under a unified philosophy that everything is energy. Her background (BA and two MAs from Stanford, time spent with teachers and shamans across disciplines) gives her credibility, and her public offerings—a podcast, a lunar membership community, a meditation library, courses, and herbal blends—make her work accessible at different depths of engagement.

Question 2

What tradition or lineage does Everything Is Energy's work belong to?

Accepted Answer

Everything Is Energy's practice draws from multiple converging lineages rather than a single tradition. At its foundation are yoga and meditation teachings, which Lisa Marie Haley began studying informally before formalizing them through her founding of a yoga studio in Palo Alto in 2008; her approach to these disciplines emphasizes direct experience and personal truth over dogma. Her herbalism and plant medicine work appears to draw from Western herbal traditions and regenerative farming practices (she sources some herbs from a farm in Somerset, California). Her astrology work sits in contemporary practice-based astrology—the kind focused on psychological insight and lived navigation rather than fortune-telling. She describes having studied with teachers and shamans across disciplines, suggesting an eclectic approach that honors multiple wisdom traditions without claiming a single lineage. What unifies these threads is her philosophy of energy and mediumship—the framework through which she interprets astrology, plants, movement, and direct spiritual guidance.

Question 3

Where should a complete newcomer start with Everything Is Energy's work?

Accepted Answer

For someone encountering Everything Is Energy for the first time, the podcast is the most natural entry point—it pairs lunar astrology with guided meditation, so listeners get a taste of both her astrological thinking and her teaching voice without committing to a paid offering or a full consultation. Her Insight Timer presence likely offers similar accessible content (guided meditations, teachings) that requires no financial investment. If the podcast resonates, a newcomer might explore her meditation library next, which lets them experience her voice and teaching style across different formats and durations. Someone drawn specifically to herbal or astrology work might start with a consultation (astrology readings, herbal healing sessions, or relationship readings), though this requires engagement with her directly; first-time clients should review her website to understand what each offering entails. The Lunar Herbal Alchemy Circle membership is designed for students who want ongoing, community-based work rather than one-off readings—this is better for someone already familiar with her approach and wanting to deepen practice. The free podcast and meditation library are the low-friction gateway; paid consultations and the membership are for people ready to work with her more intensively.

Question 4

What makes Everything Is Energy distinctive compared to other yoga teachers in the same space?

Accepted Answer

While many yoga teachers in the wellness market teach physical postures and meditation, Lisa Marie Haley's signature approach is anchoring yoga and meditation within the larger framework of astrology and herbalism—she's not teaching yoga in isolation but as part of an integrated cosmology where the body, the planets, plant medicine, and energy all inform each other. Most yoga teachers don't read birth charts or recommend herbal allies; most astrologers don't teach yoga or lead meditation, so her work collapses those silos. Additionally, her teaching background matters: she has advanced degrees from Stanford and years of work with shamans and cross-disciplinary teachers, which shapes how she articulates these practices—there's intellectual rigor alongside the spiritual framework. Her herbs are sourced from a regeneratively-managed farm, which means her plant medicine work isn't purely energetic; it's grounded in real agricultural practice and ecological consciousness. Her public podcast and the Lunar Herbal Alchemy Circle membership (built around the monthly lunar cycle) offer scalable offerings for students wanting ongoing, seasonal teaching rather than isolated classes or one-off readings. Finally, her emphasis on customization—each consultation is shaped to the individual, not a preset protocol—reflects a deeper belief that there's no one-size-fits-all healing path.

Question 5

Who is Everything Is Energy's work NOT for?

Accepted Answer

Everything Is Energy's work is least suited to people skeptical of astrology or who view it as entertainment rather than a meaningful knowledge system—if someone dismisses astrology outright, her consultations will feel built on a foundation they don't trust. Similarly, people looking for a high-energy, physically demanding yoga practice may find her approach too meditative and energy-focus oriented; she's not running a power vinyasa or HIIT-adjacent class. Her work is also not designed for people who want off-the-shelf, transactional wellness products delivered in 15 minutes—everything she offers requires engagement, reflection, and willingness to work with nuance (birth charts are complex, herbal recommendations are personalized, not generic). Someone committed to a single, specific spiritual or religious tradition might feel that her eclectic, multi-lineage approach dilutes authentic teaching rather than enriches it. Her pricing model (consultations, memberships, courses) may also not be accessible to everyone, depending on cost. Finally, people seeking a charismatic guru-figure or a leader of a large movement will find her work is more intimate, community-focused, and individually-oriented—she's not building a cult of personality or a mass movement.

Question 6

How can I follow Everything Is Energy's upcoming events, releases, and travel?

Accepted Answer

The main channels to follow Everything Is Energy are her website (everythingisenergyapothecary.com), which should list upcoming offerings, consultations, courses, and any workshops or retreats; her YouTube channel (@everythingisenergy), which may feature talks, meditations, or podcast episodes; and her Insight Timer profile, where new meditations and teachings are likely posted. Her podcast (Everything Is Energy Podcast) can be accessed through standard podcast platforms and likely announces new episodes regularly. The Lunar Herbal Alchemy Circle membership is her most direct engagement model for students who want regular, ongoing communication about lunar cycles, seasonal offerings, and community rituals. Her Spotify presence exists and may be worth checking for any audio content. However, the data does not currently show announced tour dates, specific retreat locations, or upcoming events, so the best immediate move is to visit her website or sign up for any newsletter or email list she offers.

Question 7

What is Everything Is Energy's teaching style? What does a session or retreat with them feel like?

Accepted Answer

Based on her own description, Lisa Marie Haley's teaching style is deeply personal and soulful—she emphasizes pointing people toward their own inner truth rather than imposing doctrine or a preset path. She describes having studied informally with teachers and shamans across disciplines, and her approach reflects that eclecticism: she moves fluidly between astrology, herbal guidance, energy work, meditation, and yoga without treating these as separate domains. In a consultation or teaching session, this likely means she's listening not just to what you say but to the overall constellation of your life—your astrological chart, your spoken intentions, the seasonal moment, your body's signals—and synthesizing those into a coherent reflection. Her podcast pairings of lunar astrology with guided meditation suggest she teaches meditation with astrological context, which means she's not offering generic meditation instruction but rather meditations timed and framed by where the moon is in its cycle. Students should expect personalization; her repeated emphasis on individual-focused work (rather than group formulas) signals that a session with her will be customized, not scripted. Her work appears to honor both rational understanding (reading charts, discussing herbal properties) and direct intuitive and energetic knowing (mediumship, energy healing), so the teaching style blends intellectual and intuitive modes.

Question 8

What are the recurring themes in Everything Is Energy's teaching?

Accepted Answer

The consistent thread across her offerings is the concept of alignment—aligning one's life rhythms with lunar cycles, one's wellness practices with astrological patterns, one's body with plant allies, one's actions with inner truth. She frequently teaches about seasons and cycles, as evidenced by her Lunar Herbal Alchemy Circle (structured around New and Full Moons) and her podcast (pairing lunar astrology with meditation); the message is that we are not static and that honoring natural rhythms of change brings us into better relationship with ourselves and our environment. Customization and individual truth is another recurring theme—she consistently emphasizes that there's no one-size-fits-all answer, whether in herbal recommendations or in spiritual teaching, and she positions herself as helping people discover their own truth rather than following a doctrine. The integration of multiple knowledge systems is also central: she never separates the spiritual from the practical (astrology informs herbal choice), the intellectual from the intuitive (reading a chart is both data analysis and energetic attunement), or the individual from the seasonal (personal work happens within the context of lunar and seasonal time). Energy and mediumship appear across her work, framing all practices as ways of working with invisible, animating forces. Finally, there's an emphasis on community and seasonal ritual, particularly through her membership circle, suggesting that she views healing and practice as both intimate and collective.

Question 9

Has Everything Is Energy written or recorded talks people can study independently?

Accepted Answer

Yes, though the available recorded work appears to be primarily in audio and podcast format rather than published books. She hosts the Everything Is Energy Podcast, which pairs lunar astrology with guided meditation and is available on all major podcast platforms; this is directly accessible for independent study and provides an entry point into both her astrological thinking and her meditation instruction. She maintains a meditation library with guided meditations across different formats and durations, which can be practiced independently at any time. Her Insight Timer presence includes both meditations and written reflections on her teaching philosophy and practice. Her YouTube channel (@everythingisenergy) likely contains recorded talks or podcast episodes. For more formal, structured independent study, her courses are available (though they require enrollment); the podcast and meditation library remain the most freely accessible materials for someone beginning to engage with her work.

Question 10

Do you need any background to follow Everything Is Energy's teaching?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is necessary to engage with her foundational offerings. Her podcast, which pairs lunar astrology with guided meditation, is designed to be accessible to newcomers—you don't need to know astrology beforehand; the podcast teaches as you listen. Her meditation library is similarly open to people of all levels; meditation is presented as a practice anyone can begin at any time. Her Insight Timer content is explicitly designed for people beginning meditation or seeking guidance. However, if you choose to go deeper—particularly into astrology readings or the Lunar Herbal Alchemy Circle—some familiarity with basic astrological concepts (what a birth chart is, the difference between sun/moon/rising signs, how the moon cycle works) would enhance the experience, though she likely explains these in her teachings. Her emphasis on personal truth and individual pathways suggests she meets people where they are; a complete newcomer to astrology, yoga, and herbalism can start with her podcast or meditations.
