Ch'Lu

Ch'Lu is a UK-based singer, meditation teacher, classical guitarist, and composer whose work defies easy categorization—and that's precisely what listeners respond to. She describes her sound as "Campfire-meets-Kirtan-meets-Club," a fusion that brings together intimate acoustic tradition, Sanskrit mantra practice, and contemporary cultural energy. Her name itself—pronounced ChooLOO—is Sanskrit, conceived by her Jyotish mentor to activate her spiritual and creative paths, grounding her practice in genuine lineage rather than aesthetic appropriation. What draws people in is her refusal to choose between reverence and playfulness: she expands conscious awareness without asking listeners to abandon humor or cultural currency. She's also a multilingual artist working across film, television, voice-over, and visual art, bringing that same integrative spirit to every medium. Her weekly Ch'Lu Campfire virtual gatherings—named for the warmth and collective energy of shared firelight—have become a touchstone for seekers tired of false choices between ancient tradition and contemporary life.
