Julie Skon is a trauma-informed life and healing coach, author, meditation guide and the founder of Heal Wildly. She describes her work as helping people heal and thrive at the same time, with an approach that is active rather than only reflective: somatic awareness, evidence-based techniques and real momentum.
For more than twenty years, Julie has been on a personal journey of healing trauma and finding ways to thrive mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. That journey led her to her purpose. Her background includes work as a global meditation teacher, somatic practitioner, reiki master, and certified spiritual and business coach. She says she has guided hundreds of thousands of people around the world through mindfulness, meditation and integrative coaching, and her meditations are featured on Insight Timer and YouTube and on her own podcast.
Julie works one to one and in group workshops and retreats, supporting people through life and relationship transitions, physical healing, trauma recovery, grief, mindset shifts and career goals. She also collaborates with organizations to create mindfulness workshops for workplace wellness.
Outside her work, she describes herself as a nature-lover who loves to soul play, and as a trauma survivor and a mother of daughters.
Worth Knowing
Julie Skon is a trauma-informed meditation teacher, somatic practitioner, reiki master, and life coach who founded Heal Wildly—her integrative approach to healing. She's spent over two decades on her own journey of trauma recovery and thriving, translating that personal arc into guidance for hundreds of thousands of students globally. What distinguishes her in a crowded field is her refusal of purely aspirational spirituality: she combines evidence-based coaching techniques, somatic awareness work, and meditation practice to help people move through real transitions—grief, trauma, career changes, relationship upheaval—rather than simply sitting with difficult feelings. Her meditations are available on Insight Timer and YouTube, and she hosts her own podcast, making her accessible to students across economic backgrounds and time zones. People follow her work because she speaks the language of actual healing, not generic transformation rhetoric.
