Kailey Murphy is a mind-body and embodiment coach, writer, and meditation guide based in Boulder, Colorado. She supports people living with chronic fatigue, pain, long COVID, and other chronic symptoms, offering a gentle, non-judgmental space to listen to the body, soften overwhelm, and build a more compassionate connection with oneself. Her work through Moon Body Living includes one-to-one sessions rooted in somatic exploration, mind-body medicine, and guided inquiry.
Her approach draws on mind-body medicine, embodiment, health coaching, trauma-informed care, and emotional exploration. It is not about fixing or fighting the body, but about listening deeply to it.
Kailey came to this work through her own experience. In her early twenties, a mysterious throat pain took away her ability to sing, and over the years it grew into chronic pain, digestive issues, insomnia, long COVID symptoms, and intense fatigue. A doctor introduced her to neuroplasticity, nervous system regulation, and mind-body medicine, and she trained as an embodiment coach. She also joined Rebecca Tolin's course Be Your Own Medicine, where she practiced mind-body awareness, mindful self-compassion, and somatic healing. She now assists in that course.
She has studied in several countries and holistic communities, including Feminine Embodiment Coaching, Transpersonal Psychology, Mind-Body Medicine, Poetry, Meditation and Mindfulness, Reiki, Peace Studies, and Ayurveda. Her learning has included time at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, the School of Embodied Arts, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Naropa University, and Hale Pule Ayurveda & Yoga Center. She is pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College.
Kailey is also a published poet, author of the book Between Me and My Bones.
