Lama Rinchen

Lama Rinchen Gyaltsen, also referred to as Khenpo Rinchen Gyaltsen, is a Buddhist meditation teacher who teaches in Spanish. He guides the Paramita training program, an international collective of Buddhist groups whose mission is to be a bridge between the ancient wisdom of the Himalayas and the Spanish-speaking world. Its headquarters is the Sakya Buddhist Centre in Alicante, Spain.

He designed a five-level program of Buddhist study and practice, built to be accessible to people with no prior knowledge of Buddhism while staying faithful to the core of classical Buddhist philosophy. Its introductory path includes the Integral Mental Training (EMI), a four-module course in meditation and personal development: calm and clarity, kindness and altruism, compassion and change, and wisdom and discovery. Paramita reports that more than 60,000 people have taken its courses, online and in person.

Alongside online courses, he leads live integration retreats where students bring their questions, review the key points of each module and meditate together with people from around the world. His teaching is described as clear and warm, with a sense of humour, and as relying on practical examples and memorable metaphors.
