Ken Nelson

Ken Nelson is an English record producer, born in Liverpool. After several years working on demos and with independent artists, he found success with Gomez, followed by worldwide success with the first Coldplay recording.

His discography includes Gomez's Bring It On and Liquid Skin, Badly Drawn Boy's The Hour of Bewilderbeast, and Coldplay's Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head and X&Y. He has also produced Kings of Convenience, Howling Bells, Paolo Nutini and Deadbeat Darling, and has worked with the Charlatans, Ray LaMontagne and Snow Patrol, among others.

He has won three Grammy Awards and two Mercury Music Prizes, and was Music Week magazine's Producer of the Year in 2003.
